Navigating Sleep Deprivation and Pain Management: My No Good, Very Bad Day

My day started yesterday, and my thought process is not as it should be. It’s warped to another sense of reality- sleep deprivation for 36 hours. Sleep deprivation is one of the problems that plague me. I have insomnia. I have pains that no medication works on. It is my spine, and even if I take my bipolar medications with pain meds, they don’t always put me to sleep when I’m having pain as seriously as my spine deals. Hence the insomnia at times.

Today happens to be a bad 36 hours. Hardly any pains except what no sleep gives me. The pains are just irritations that feel like they will burst open at a given moment. Today is My No Good, Very Bad Day.

Fair warning: my writing may be all over the place in this post.

This posting helps you understand my thought process just a little.

All I can say is, “Welcome to my World.” May you have a thrilling ride, and may you discover and understand more about what bipolar disorder does to the brain of the one creating the content. We have one heck of a journey ahead of us. May you stay along for the ride. Happy reading!
